weekend on the island

i went down to san jose this weekend to take 2 classes with Debby Schuh at the scrapbook island.  as usual, my motivation was to learn more about the "paper-centered" industry.  first, i was pleased to learn that i have indeed taught myself quite a bit from all my blog reading, you tube watching and book reading time.  the first class was "pennies from heaven" - a mini book filled with interestingly folded paper pockets. 

the second was "anthropologie bag turned album".
